Mr. Endy M. Bayuni is a journalist of the Jakarta Post from 1983 and became the chief editor of the Jakarta post in 2004. He has experienced the authoritarian regime and the democratized and decentralized regime as a journalist.
He would talk about the positively and negatively growing role of mass media in the democratized Indonesia, comparing with the castrated role of the media in the authoritarian Indonesia.
